For those of you who aren’t the biggest Christmas lovers, don’t like a bright red lip that symbolises the festivities, then this look is for you. Call it the anti-Christmas makeup look. A purple, berry toned lip and a matte base that still makes you look fantastic (even if you don’t fancy celebrating).
This years makeup look is essentially an autumn/winter look, it’s pretty basic and can be worn for all occasions. I’ve been wearing the statement lip during the whole of the Autumn and Winter and I’ve been loving it! So let me tell you how I achieved this look.
I started by applying a mixture of the Rimmel Match Perfect foundation in True Ivory and mixing it with the L’Oreal True Match in the shade 1.N. The Rimmel shade is slightly darker and just stops my face looking so bland and pale without overdoing it.
I didn’t contour at all as I wanted to keep the look basic, quick simple. Although if you wanted too, then you can! I browned with the Physicans Formula Butter Bronzer (I still don’t know if you can get it in the U.K.!) and added a little berry toned blush from the Morphe 9B palette.
For eyes, with the tip of my finger I applied the L’Oreal 24HR Colour Tattoo cream shadow in the shade On and On Bronze. I blended it with a clean brush and then went in with the ABH Modern Renaissance palette with the shade Raw Sienna in the crease, Vermeer on the brow bone and Primavera on the inner corner.
To create the perfect thin liner, go in with the Maybelline Master Precise liquid liner. This is generally personal preference, I wanted a thin liner so it looked fairly neutral. Apply for favourite mascara, mine is Doucce Punk Volumizer mascara to add a lot of volume. I did my brows no different to how I would usually do them, using the Freedom brow pomade in blonde and crested small brush strokes.
Finally, the Sleek liquid lipstick in Velvet Slipper is the perfect berry toned liquid lip. Long lasting, matte and comfortable to wear. Ideal for all the food and drinks this Christmas!

Summer is here! I love doing seasons makeup looks for you guys and now the time has come for my summer makeup look.
During summer I love a very natural, bronzed look. I don’t use a lot of blushes or highlight at all either. Everything is very soft and neutral which I love for this time of year.
I never want to feel like I’m wearing loads of makeup when I’m in the heat. I find that it melts off my face and makes me feel more hot and sweaty than I feel necessary. I hope you like this look, enjoy!
Firstly, I started with the Revlon ColourStay Foundation and mixed it with the Stilla Aqua glow perfecting bronzer. I did this to darken the foundation because it was too light for me.
For concealer I used the Maybelline Fit Me for any blemishes and then the Bourjois Radiance Reveal concealer under my eyes to highlight. Then I set all of this using the Maybelline Super Stay power but only in the places I’ve concealed so I still have that nice glow coming through.
I used only one palette for the rest of my base, the Tanya Burr Rosy Cheek Palette. I bronzed my forehead, cheeks and under my jaw line with this bronzer and added more than usual to look extra summery and tan. I lightly put the blush from the palette on the apples of my cheek (very light, it’s super pigmented) and then dusted the highlight on the high points of my face. I used my beauty sponge to buff everything out and look flawless.
For eyes I only used the bronzer shade from the Tanya Burr palette. I started in the crease and then dusted it all over my lid. I used the highlight for my inner corner and finished with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
For my brows I went in with the BBrowbar eyebrow pencil in Indian Chocolate and only filled in the areas that needed doing.
I lined my lips with the L’Oreal lip pencil in 302 and buffed it out with fingers. I then filled in my lips with the YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in 218.
There you have it! My finished look. I hope you enjoyed. Check out my social media:

Valentine’s Day is approaching and we all want to look out best for our significant other. So, get your best dress out and your favourite lipstick and away we go! I really enjoy the basic, natural eye look with a red lip. Keep reading to find out how I achieve this look!
I always start my makeup off with clean, moisturised base. I then go in with the Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue primer and massage it into my t-zone, since this is where I have the most issue trying to keep foundations to sit. After it’s settled I used the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation and buff it in with a dense brush. Taking the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in light I used my Real Techniques sponge and made sure everything looks seamless, ensuring that I bring it down my neck. I then set my base using the Revlon Photoready powder to make sure it stays put throughout the whole night and making sure I especially pack it on under my eyes and nose area. I used the Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe collection to add a light bronzer from the Gingerbread Cookie palette and blusher from the Peppermint Mocha palette (pictures below) and then highlighted my cheek bones, bridge of my nose and cupids bow with The Balm Mary Lou Manizer.
For the eyes I want to keep them simple and classy, with a strong eyeliner and light crease colour. Using the Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe collection again, from the Eggnog Latte palette I started with using the ‘Frosty Nog’ shade all over my lid and then using the shade ‘Skinny Latte’ in my crease, slowly building it up until my ideal shade. I added a strong wing to my upper lash line using the Ciate Fierce Flicks eyeliner and the Bourjois Black Kohl eyeliner in my upper waterline.
For my lip colour I used the Avon Cosmetics matte lip colour in Wild Cherry all over.

Christmas is approaching and we have parties to attend, what better than to get your best dress on and a glittery eye. Carry on reading for my take on a festive makeup look!
I started by using my Urban Decay Setting Spray as we want our makeup to last all day. Once dried I used the L.A Girl Concealer in green to cover my blemishes and add the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer on top. For foundation I used the L.A Girl Foumdation in Fair and buffed it in with a beauty sponge. To highlight my under eye area I used the Bourjois Radiance Concealer in light. I set my face with the Revlon Photoready Powder and carried on by using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer to contour. I bronzed my face with the Bourjois Bromzing Powder and finished with adding the Essence Satin Touch Blush in satin love. I used the Sleek Highlight Palette in Solstice on my cheek bones, bridge of my nose and Cupid’s bow.
I took the Original Urban Decay Primer Potion to prime my eyelids. Also taking tape and placing it from the corner of my eye to the end of my eyebrow.
I mainly used the Zoeva Cool Spectrum Palette for the look, taking CL070 through the crease and outer part of my eye and CL130 across the lid. I then took the Too Faced Chocolate Bon-Bon palette and the shade Bordeaux and added it to the outer corner of my eye and continued adding the intensive the look. I also added Bordeaux to my under eye and mixed it with CL070.
Using any black eyeliner I added it to my upper and lower waterline, curled my lashes and added Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.
For my brows I used the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in Shade 4.
To finish the look I primed my lips with the Obsessive Complusive Cosmetics Lip Tar and massaged into my lips. Finishing with Lady Danger by Mac.
